About the project
At Medipol Mega, fabric-wrapped acoustic panels were applied to the walls to improve the acoustics of the office and give the space a stronger look. The absorbent core reduces the echo and noise that build up in the room and leaves it better balanced. The contrasting colours chosen for the scheme give the walls a dynamic, arresting composition and reinforce the modern character of the architecture. The panels support the acoustics and the interior at once, and the office is a more comfortable and productive place to work because of it.

The task was to bring the echo and background noise in the Medipol Mega offices under control and create a space that supports concentration. In a healthcare organisation, clear communication between staff and a calm room matter a great deal; the existing walls fell short acoustically and did little visually.
Our solution
Fabric-wrapped acoustic panels were fitted to the walls, and the high-performance absorbent core substantially reduced the echo and noise in the room. Contrasting colours built a composition with movement across the walls, strengthening the modern architectural language of the space. Acoustic performance and design were handled as one piece of work.

Results
Acoustic comfort improved markedly and staff concentration and communication improved with it. The space now reads as more contemporary and more ordered. The project met both the functional and the visual brief.
