Products that stand in the room
Not fixed to the building
These products are not fixed to a wall or ceiling; they stand in the room. They have no slot in the planner, so we work out what you need together.
- AO-003 Acoustic Screen Free-standing, movable divider. Separates work areas in an open-plan office.
- AO-001 Acoustic Felt Desk Divider Clamps to the edge of a desk.
- AO-002 Fabric-Wrapped Desk Divider Clamps to the edge of a desk.
- AO-004 Acoustic Curtain Hung on a track in front of the window; the pleats increase the surface area.
- AD-001 Acoustic Door Fitted into the wall opening complete with its frame.
Built into the structure
Invisible once the work is done
Sound insulation cannot be seen. These products go inside the wall, the floor or the ceiling, and once the work is done none of them is visible. They are not in the 3D scene — showing them stuck to a wall would be misleading. Below is what each one does and where it goes.
- SI-003 Acoustic Sealing Tape Acoustic tape; breaks structural sound bridges. Under the profiles and at the board joints
- SI-001 Seismic Mount Anti-vibration mount; stops vibration reaching the structure. Under machinery and equipment
- SI-007 Tecsound High-mass membrane; blocks airborne sound. Between the plasterboard layers
- SI-002 PVC Sound Barrier Loaded vinyl barrier; adds mass to cut sound transmission. Between the plasterboard layers
- SI-006 Basotect Melamine foam infill; absorbs the resonance inside the cavity. Inside the wall cavity
- SI-005 Evapan Floating floor layer; separates impact sound from the structure. Under the screed
- SI-004 Rubber-Cork Underlay Rubber cork mat; insulates against impact sound. Under the screed
